DOW Aggregate Calculator
MCAT is a test that determines a student’s qualification or eligibility for admission to enter MBBS or BDS and other undergraduate medical courses. The entry/aptitude test is MCQs based, based on subjects such as English, Chemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Physics. The weightage from the test is 50% included in the aggregate.

Dow university is Public medical sector and entry test is conducted and supervised by National Test Service (NTS) organization. The test is conducted by the criteria issued by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
Subject Wise Marks Weightage for 2021
The following subjects’ questions will be held from the previous FSc syllabus,
- Biology 80 MCQs
- Chemistry 60MCQs
- Physics 40 MCQs
- English General language Proficiency 20 MCQs
- Total Questions: 200
- Total Time Allowed: 150 minutes
Applicants are informed that each question carries one mark with no negative marking. Applicants will be offered a duration of 150 minutes (2hrs 30 minutes) to attempt the paper.
Minimum Qualification Requirement
Entry will be granted to all those who meet stringent merit-based admission criteria, regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, or economic status.
The entry qualifications are based on candidates meeting the following requirements:
Applying for and registering for the Aptitude Test online.
For Foreign Students:
Non-Resident Pakistanis, Foreign Students, and Pakistani Nationals:
Both applicants (foreign students, non-resident Pakistanis, and Pakistani Nationals) with SAT scores of 1900 or higher and GMAT scores of 600 or higher are excluded from the IHM – DUHS undergraduate and graduate admissions tests, but must go through the interview process.
Meeting the minimum academic eligibility requirement is necessary for the concerned program.
Providing an equivalence certificate to holders of degrees/certificates issued by non-Pakistani universities/boards.
The aptitude test evaluates candidates’ quantitative and analytical ability, logical reasoning, listening skills, reading comprehension, lexical resource, grammatical range, and program aptitude.
Reserved Seats/ Quota:
At IHM – DUHS, there are no reserved / quota seats in any group.
If insufficient candidates apply or a particular candidate fails to meet the above conditions, no attempt will be taken to fill all available seats / lower criteria.
No qualified candidate will be denied entry because of his or her inability to pay IHM – DUHS fees; however, certain candidates must qualify for financial assistance and follow the conditions for the same.
The Admission Committee will determine the cut-off for particular programs in the entrance exam using rigorous methods focused on statistical analysis.

The aptitude test is held at the main DUHS. The test center, date, and reporting time are all shown on the admit cards given to applicants. Please carefully read all of the directions on the back of the Admit Card. To appear in the aptitude exam, students must hold their Admit Cards as well as a photocopy of their NIC.
The candidates’ language and intellectual abilities are assessed. Candidates who complete the aptitude test will be called to an interview.
Interviews are held to assess applicants’ maturity, academic aptitude, motivation, interpersonal skills, and career focus.
Candidates are required to bring the following documents in original on the day of interview:
- Matriculation /O Level certificates with transcript/mark sheet
- Intermediate Certificate (Part I) / A level (first year) certificate with transcript/mark sheet
- National Identity Card NIC
- Parents/ Guardians NIC
